Thanksgiving reicipe

Hello friends, Next week is Thanksgiving I am not sure what everyone is doing but I thought I would take my time and blog you one of my favorite recipes to try for you holiday. Although I might not be the best cook even I can make this it is like a pudding or parfait with fresh cranberries. All you need is: 1-1.25C fresh cut cranberries, .5C light corn syrup, 1tsp. grated orange rind, 1C whipping cream, 1C sifted powdered sugar, 1.5C sour cream, .5tsp. vanilla extract, garish cranberries cut in half. It is also very easy to make you process 1.25 cup cranberries and corn syrup in processor until finally chopped, transfer to small bowl and stir in orange rind, beat whipping cream until foamy: gradually and powdered sugar, beat in until stiff peaks form. Stir together vanilla extract and sour cream in medium bowl. fold in half of whipped cream. Fold in remaining whip cream. Spoon 1 Tbs. of cranberry syrup in to 6 parfait glasses: top with .25C sour cream mixture, then repeat the layers once and garnish. I how you all will get a chance to try this recipe I don't remember a thanksgiving in my family with out it. My grandmother has made it for us for many years. Please enjoy and have a Happy Holiday!
